Nadeau Law, PLLC / Website information

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy explains how Nadeau Law, PLLC ("the firm," "we," or "us") handles information collected through this website and related consultation inquiries. It does not replace the terms of an engagement agreement or the professional duties that apply to client matters.

Information collected

The consultation form asks for your name and telephone number. You may also provide an email address, the general type of matter, and a court or upcoming court date. If you contact the firm by telephone or email, we receive the information you choose to provide in that communication.

Please provide only the information needed to arrange an initial conversation. Do not submit confidential case details, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records, or documents through the website. The firm must check for conflicts before discussing sensitive information. Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship or extend a legal deadline.

Our website services also process technical information, including an IP address, browser or device information, and the date and time of a request. This information helps deliver the site, maintain its operation, and identify automated or abusive activity.

How information is used

We use inquiry information to contact you, arrange a consultation, identify the general nature of your request, check for potential conflicts, and assess whether the firm can consider a proposed representation. We also use information as reasonably needed to administer the website, maintain records of inquiries, protect the firm and its services, and meet applicable legal and professional obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

The website is hosted on Webflow. Consultation submissions are processed and stored through Webflow and may be delivered to the firm through email notifications. Website administrators and the firm's email service providers may process information as needed to maintain the site and handle inquiries. Webflow stores customer end-user data in the United States. More information is available in Webflow's Privacy Policy.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect bots and prevent spam. Cloudflare processes technical signals, such as an IP address and browser information, to provide and improve this security service. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

The site also uses Google Fonts. Loading those fonts sends a request to Google's servers, which includes your IP address and other request information. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed with your authorization or when required by law, or as reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or the security of the website, subject to applicable confidentiality and professional obligations.

Cookies and outside websites

Website hosting and security services may use cookies or similar technologies to support delivery, operation, and protection of the site. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies or scripts may affect the contact form or other site functions.

Links to Google Maps, LinkedIn, and other outside websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies. This policy covers the firm's website and inquiries, rather than information you provide directly to those outside services.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, conduct conflict checks, maintain appropriate records, and meet legal or professional obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the information and whether an inquiry becomes a client matter. Client records are handled under the firm's separate professional and recordkeeping obligations.

We use reasonable measures to protect information in our care. No website, email system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please call the office to arrange an appropriate way to provide sensitive documents or case information.

Your choices and requests

You may choose whether to use the form and which optional information to provide. You may ask the firm about information you have submitted, request a correction, request deletion, or ask that we stop contacting you about an inquiry. Contact the firm using the details below.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. Requests are considered subject to applicable law, conflict-checking needs, recordkeeping requirements, and professional duties; some information may need to be retained. Any additional privacy rights available to you depend on the law that applies to your circumstances.

Children and policy updates

This website is intended for adults seeking information about legal services. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted their own personal information through the site, please contact the firm so we can review the submission and take appropriate action.

We may revise this policy when the website or our information practices change. The updated policy will appear on this page with a revised date.
